Who doesn't get asked that question whenever they wear a dress? What's even sadder is sometimes you don't have a date! :p

Jackets for Every Personality

It's still constantly raining outside. The weather's so erratic that you don't know if it's going to rain or be sunny outside.

So you got to be prepared! It might even be as simple as it's the freakin' north pole in your office because of the air conditioning. :P But being all covered up doesn't mean not being fashionable!

Here's just some of the jackets, cardigans and blazers that I have up for auction this week.



1. The pink soft blazer is perfect for the girly-girl inside you. :) It's soft stretch fabric will surely protect you from the cold but also hug you at all the right places for that perfect fit.

2. This striped boyfriend (oversized) cardigan is really the epitome of the borrow-your-boyfriend trend nowadays w/ a feminine spin. I imagine this to be great paired w/ a cute pair of shorts or a mini skirt and a belt

3. This is for the classic and simple girl in you. Pair this with a belt and you're all set whether you'd choose to wear a pair of jeans or slacks. Just grab a pair of matching shoes and you've got the perfect outfit for the office or a casual night out.

4. This cropped fatigue green jacket is for the fashionista in all of us. :) This jacket is the only accessory you'll need as this is a statement all on its own. With its oversized buttons and cute cropped design, you'll surely be thought of as a fashion trendsetter.

HOLGA 135 Lomography Camera

Hey everyone!

I don't just have items for fashionistas, I also have items for photography enthusiasts. Specifically, this week I have up for auction a Holga 135 which is the 35 mm variant for this popular lomography brand.

Honestly, I don't quite know what I'm talking about when it comes to this. :) I bought this just because I think the pictures look cool and when I travel I like taking pictures of landscapes and views. Unfortunately, I don't really see myself traveling anytime in the near future so I need to let this go. :P

Anyhoo, just to give you guys a bit more information about this camera, I searched the net and found the following article from microsites.lomography.com. Just click on the link to head on straight to that site for info about other Holga cameras. :)

Holga 35mm

Right here we have a slightly miniaturized version of the original medium format Holga. Like its older sibling, it’s got an all-plastic lens, two shutter settings, and two aperture settings. Its advance and shutter are uncoupled- meaning that you can shoot unlimited multiple exposures on the same frame. Its images are dripping with color, contrast, a slight softness, and a whole lotta soul. For that classic Holga look, with the ease of 35mm film development, this guy can’t be beat.

* Format: all 35mm film (color negative, slide, b&w)

* Standard 35mm processing that can be done at any lab, supermarket, etc.

Holga 35mm Features

Plastic 47/8 Optical Lens
The Holga’s heart and soul. A dead-simple multi-element plastic lens that makes colors radiate and makes total image sharpness take a brief holiday. You can also expect a bit of vignetting (darkening) around the edges – especially on a sunny day.

Uncoupled Advance and Shutter

After you shoot an image, you can choose to advance it one full frame or not advance at all. This feature allows you to shoot limitless times on the same frame (multiple exposures). Hooray!

Variable Shutter Speeds
You get two to choose from. “N” - the standard daytime speed of 1/125 second or the exotic long-exposure "B" setting – where you can hold the shutter open for as long as you want. Use "B" to capture dazzling night images without a flash. Pair the "B" setting with a flash shot to freeze your sharp, flashed subject in front of a streaming, glowing background. Team the "B" setting with a tripod (via the bottom tripod thread) for a sharp night portrait.

Variable Aperture
A little weather guide helps you out. Choose f/11 for sunny shots and f/8 for cloudy and nighttime shots. Pretty easy, that one.

Zone Focus
Fun, fabulous, and very fast. The lens has four focus settings – portrait, small group, big group, and infinity. Guess as best you can and fire away.

Standard Tripod & Shutter Release Threads
Two wonderful little accessories for long-exposure shots. Fit a tripod into the bottom and a cable release into the top, and you’re set for solid, shake-free shots of a few seconds to a few hours!

Standard Hotshoe
Your Holga 35mm just loves electronic flashes. Punch one into its standard hotshoe and your flash will automatically fire in sync with the shutter release.

Normal 35mm processing
Color negative, slide, and black & white 35mm film all work just wonderfully inside your camera. Once you’ve shot a roll, it can be normally (and cheaply) processed at any lab, supermarket, drug store, swap meet, etc.

Favorite Find of the Week: BCBG MaxAzria Black/Ecru Floral Print Dress

This has to be my absolute favorite for this entire auction.

This is a BCBG MaxAzria dress in soft stretchy fabric (like jersey) and has this really beautiful black and ecru floral print. This dress for me is ELEGANT, CLASSY and TIMELESS in every sense of the word and I don't think this dress will ever go out of style.

Truly VERSATILE is how I see this dress, you can wear this with strappy heels for a night out or with a chic pair of pumps and a black blazer for an office look that can bring you straight to the evening sans the blazer.

The item up for auction is size MEDIUM and will fit MEDIUM TO LARGE frames because of its nice stretchy fabric. It will absolutely drape nicely on even fuller figured women because of the design and cut of the dress and also because of its wonderful fabric.
