Fab Tops and Dresses for Work AND for Play!

I'm really proud of the lot of items I've got for the next auctions.

Here are just some of the great tops that you'll have to look forward to:

1. Blue Mastina Button-down Cardigan

Well, you can't really see the fabulous detail in this picture but this cardigan is pretty unique. It's made in a unique shade of blue (not commonly seen in stores) with 3/4 sleeves, slight give and gathering at the chest, stripe knit effect at the top of the chest as well as pretty darn cute 3 button execution at the opening. You really got to see it. It's really great.

2. Black Max Studio.com Loose Tunic Top

I'm such a sucker for tunic tops paired with belts because they're are so flattering to practically any figure. They either accentuate an already tiny waist or create the illusion of a waist (which is what I need :P). This tunic top is particularly great because of the detail. It's not your run of the mill tunic top (think tiangge). This is really nice because of the stitching/partitioning detail that they created and I especially love the kimono sleeves and wide armhole that they made which make this particularly comfy.

3. Zara Basic White Comfy 3/4 Sleeve Peasant Top

This is such a great top. Besides the fact that it's from Zara so you're sure of the quality of the item, it's pretty versatile. This is a top that you can bring from the office on weekdays to the mall or even the beach on weekends. The possibilities are endless with this one and whatever you decide to pair with it, whether it be slacks, jeans or shorts, you'll surely look classy and chic. Guaranteed.

Going from Day to Night in a Cinch!

Hey y'all! :)

Here's just some of the gorgeous clothes that will be up for auction on Friday, October 8:

1. Gorgeous Cream Knit MARC JACOBS Top w/ Square Neckline and Soft Sheer Sleeves. Absolutely beautiful!!! It's got that harem/genie look because of the sleeves which really makes it unique. You just can't go wrong w/ a Marc Jacobs. This particular top is a Size 2 but is knitted so it's stretchy and will definitely drape nicely.

2. Classy Navy Blue Knit Top w/ Faux Striped Silk Inner Blouse. I looove the design and quality of this blouse. The striped silk detailing on this top is not only luxurious but also quite pretty. It gives the blouse a nautical feel - very Ralph Lauren-ish.

3. Uber chic MNG Sleevesless Faux Wrap Top w/ Gathering Detail at Waist. Absolutely chic and classy top from Mango made from a gorgeous slightly stretchy black semi-shiny material. Just pair this top w/ your tube top of choice (black tube in picture not included) and you're good to go. Just depends on what you're going to pair with it but it's versatile enough to get you from work to a fabulous night out. :)

4. Classy Black 3/4 Sleeve Miss Jo's Blazer/Jacket w/ Oversized Buttons, Pockets and Faux Belt detail. This jacket is absolutely gorgeous and is excellently designed and made. Perfect for work w/ a skirt or a pair of slacks and tres chic for a night out w/ friends w/ a pair of skinny jeans and killer heels. :)

Back from ONDOY!

Hey everyone!

This past week has been so chaotic. Our house was hit too by Typhoon Ondoy. The water levels outside our house was "lagpas tao". A good 8 feet probably. Besides that, we still consider ourselves quite lucky compared the fate of our other fellow Filipinos. Our house was wrecked but at least it's still here standing and material things aside, at least none of us was hurt. We were able to get out of the house before the flood waters gushed in.

As for my dear clients, you have nothing to worry about. :) Most of my items up for sale lay safe and tucked away at the one and only attic in our house. My clothes for sale were even luckier than my own personal clothes that were severely flooded. I had nothing to wear for days! Just yesterday we finally had time to launder our clothes (amidst all the cleaning and fixing) so for the first time in days, I finally have my own clothes (thank you to a neighbor who lent me clothes to wear) to wear. :)

Business goes on as usual. :) Watch out in the next few days as I start posting updates for next week's new auction starting on Friday, October 9. :)

Jackets for Every Personality

It's still constantly raining outside. The weather's so erratic that you don't know if it's going to rain or be sunny outside.

So you got to be prepared! It might even be as simple as it's the freakin' north pole in your office because of the air conditioning. :P But being all covered up doesn't mean not being fashionable!

Here's just some of the jackets, cardigans and blazers that I have up for auction this week.

1. The pink soft blazer is perfect for the girly-girl inside you. :) It's soft stretch fabric will surely protect you from the cold but also hug you at all the right places for that perfect fit.

2. This striped boyfriend (oversized) cardigan is really the epitome of the borrow-your-boyfriend trend nowadays w/ a feminine spin. I imagine this to be great paired w/ a cute pair of shorts or a mini skirt and a belt

3. This is for the classic and simple girl in you. Pair this with a belt and you're all set whether you'd choose to wear a pair of jeans or slacks. Just grab a pair of matching shoes and you've got the perfect outfit for the office or a casual night out.

HOLGA 135 Lomography Camera

I don't just have items for fashionistas, I also have items for photography enthusiasts. Specifically, this week I have up for auction a Holga 135 which is the 35 mm variant for this popular lomography brand.

Honestly, I don't quite know what I'm talking about when it comes to this. :) I bought this just because I think the pictures look cool and when I travel I like taking pictures of landscapes and views. Unfortunately, I don't really see myself traveling anytime in the near future so I need to let this go. :P

Anyhoo, just to give you guys a bit more information about this camera, I searched the net and found the following article from microsites.lomography.com. Just click on the link to head on straight to that site for info about other Holga cameras. :)

Holga 35mm

Right here we have a slightly miniaturized version of the original medium format Holga. Like its older sibling, it’s got an all-plastic lens, two shutter settings, and two aperture settings. Its advance and shutter are uncoupled- meaning that you can shoot unlimited multiple exposures on the same frame. Its images are dripping with color, contrast, a slight softness, and a whole lotta soul. For that classic Holga look, with the ease of 35mm film development, this guy can’t be beat.

Holga 35mm Features

Plastic 47/8 Optical Lens
The Holga’s heart and soul. A dead-simple multi-element plastic lens that makes colors radiate and makes total image sharpness take a brief holiday. You can also expect a bit of vignetting (darkening) around the edges – especially on a sunny day.

Uncoupled Advance and Shutter

After you shoot an image, you can choose to advance it one full frame or not advance at all. This feature allows you to shoot limitless times on the same frame (multiple exposures). Hooray!

Variable Shutter Speeds
You get two to choose from. “N” - the standard daytime speed of 1/125 second or the exotic long-exposure "B" setting – where you can hold the shutter open for as long as you want. Use "B" to capture dazzling night images without a flash. Pair the "B" setting with a flash shot to freeze your sharp, flashed subject in front of a streaming, glowing background. Team the "B" setting with a tripod (via the bottom tripod thread) for a sharp night portrait.

Variable Aperture
A little weather guide helps you out. Choose f/11 for sunny shots and f/8 for cloudy and nighttime shots. Pretty easy, that one.

Zone Focus
Fun, fabulous, and very fast. The lens has four focus settings – portrait, small group, big group, and infinity. Guess as best you can and fire away.

Standard Tripod & Shutter Release Threads
Two wonderful little accessories for long-exposure shots. Fit a tripod into the bottom and a cable release into the top, and you’re set for solid, shake-free shots of a few seconds to a few hours!

Standard Hotshoe
Your Holga 35mm just loves electronic flashes. Punch one into its standard hotshoe and your flash will automatically fire in sync with the shutter release.

Normal 35mm processing
Color negative, slide, and black & white 35mm film all work just wonderfully inside your camera. Once you’ve shot a roll, it can be normally (and cheaply) processed at any lab, supermarket, drug store, swap meet, etc.

This is a BCBG MaxAzria dress in soft stretchy fabric (like jersey) and has this really beautiful black and ecru floral print. This dress for me is ELEGANT, CLASSY and TIMELESS in every sense of the word and I don't think this dress will ever go out of style.

Truly VERSATILE is how I see this dress, you can wear this with strappy heels for a night out or with a chic pair of pumps and a black blazer for an office look that can bring you straight to the evening sans the blazer.

The item up for auction is size MEDIUM and will fit MEDIUM TO LARGE frames because of its nice stretchy fabric. It will absolutely drape nicely on even fuller figured women because of the design and cut of the dress and also because of its wonderful fabric.
